Transport changes are now arranged with Tower Hamlets and Hackney. Students will be collect from home in the morning at normal time but collected from college at 7pm rather than at 3.15pm.

 

 

P1 spent the day ay the Tate Modern on their travel training day. Students got the opportunity to design their own art work on digital screen and then got to upload it to a white bored on the wall.  They enjoyed using all the digital equipment and expressing their work.

 

At the College we have had a big push on making sure all of our students have their freedom passes, and this week Shaquil Ahmed managed to get his!  A big thank you to Tanjina (College Receptionist) and everyone else who has helped the students and parents/carers get their freedom passes!  They are so important for the students independence and sense of self.  Shaquil was so proud to show everyone his this week 🙂  Shaquil also went on his work experience placement at the Nunnery Cafe with Natasha Wood (Careers Lead) and Orit Addous (College Speech and Language Therapist) this week.  The feedback from the Nunnery was amazing and Shaquil did some great work, especially considering it was his first time.  Good things must come in threes because it is also Shaquil’s birthday today, so, Happy Birthday Shaquil!  Have a great birthday weekend! Shakhel received his freedom pass this week. He can now travel on public transport anywhere in London for free! Shakhel used his freedom pass to travel to The Tate Modern on Wednesday. He’ll soon be using his freedom pass to travel to his work placement. He’s really proud of his freedom pass and has been talking about it and showing everyone all week. Really well done Shakhel.
