A Word From The Head 17.9.2021

Dear parents and carers,

I hope you had a nice week.

Our students were very busy this week as all class groups started following our new rotational timetable. It was exciting to see all students going out for our new courses: Travel & Tourism, Digital World and Environmental Action. It was also inspiring to see students so engaged in our new Politics and Culture course.

We will host a Parents Forum soon so I can introduce our curriculum developments and new courses to you. Meanwhile, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

THIS WEEK
Students in P1 had a very productive week with work experiences. Students thoroughly enjoyed their Horticulture lesson and did a great job moving soil to the new planters. A special mention to the students that worked so hard in our Green Path Courier enterprise this week. Great work!

P3 students have been creating strong bonds and developing positive friendships with each other. Returning and new students have establish good communication and one student even made cards for the students that have not returned to college yet.

Students at P2 have also shown great social skills during lessons in the building and out in the community. They all look very integrated and it has been very interesting to see them addressing each other directly by their first name.

GETTING TO WORK
I am very excited to let you know that one of our students is going to become a staff member at Tower Hamlets Library Service! He is registering on Monday and getting his ID badge and laptop.

TESTING FOR STUDENTS
Just a reminder that all college students should be tested twice per week following the new government guidelines. We are sending testing kits home with your child. Please let me know if you need any support with that.
