Whitechapel Gallery and Brick Lane

For their Politics and Culture lesson P2 went to Whitechapel Gallery to see the Yoko Ono exhibition “Mend Piece”.  The students enjoyed making (and breaking) the pottery, and showing everyone the work they had done.  We then went on a tour of Brick Lane to look at some of the Street Art with the students identifying some of the more well known graffiti such as the giant Heron on Hanbury Street. Lots of fun was had by all!
